Administration Assistant (Head Office)

Location: - Mid Hampshire Healthcare Head Office, Colden Common, Winchester
Hours: - Approximately 20 hours per week – working pattern to be agreed
Contract: - Permanent
Salary: - £14.23ph

Mid Hampshire Healthcare (MHH) is looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive Administration Assistant to join our friendly Head Office team in Colden Common.

This is a varied role providing administrative support across our clinical and corporate services, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation. You’ll support a wide range of activities including general administration, responding to enquiries, preparing documents and reports, maintaining records and systems, coordinating meetings and bookings, and providing support across our HR, recruitment and finance functions.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, is confident using IT, has excellent attention to detail and can manage competing priorities in a busy working environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative, clerical or customer service role.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience of handling confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within the NHS, primary care, community healthcare or social care.
  • Experience using NHS clinical or patient administration systems such as EMIS Web or SystmOne.
  • Experience organising meetings, events or training sessions.
  • Experience producing reports, spreadsheets and meeting minutes.
  • Experience supporting HR, recruitment, finance, audit or compliance activities.

LARC Healthcare Assistant (Dorset)

Location: - Various clinic locations across Dorset 
Hours: - Permanent – Hours to be discussed at interview

Mid Hampshire Healthcare (MHH) is seeking a caring, compassionate and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our growing Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Service across Dorset.

Working alongside experienced clinicians, you'll support the delivery of high-quality women's health services by assisting with clinics, preparing clinical environments, supporting patients before, during and after procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and helping to ensure our clinics run safely and efficiently. This is a varied and rewarding role offering the opportunity to develop specialist skills in women's health within a supportive and forward-thinking healthcare organisation.

Essential Requirements

  • Healthcare Assistant qualification and/or relevant clinical experience.
  • Experience working within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and infection prevention and control.
  • Ability to travel between clinic locations across Dorset.

Desirable

  • Experience working within women's health, sexual health, primary care or community healthcare.
  • Experience using EMIS Web.
  • Experience undertaking patient observations and supporting minor procedures.
  • Chaperone training.

Location: - Alresford Surgery Hub, Hampshire
Hours: - Alternate Saturdays, 09:00 – 17:00

Mid Hampshire Healthcare (MHH) is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to support our Enhanced Access Service at our Alresford Surgery Hub.

This patient-facing role involves welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting clinicians, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of clinics. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong IT literacy, and the ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good IT literacy.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a GP Practice, NHS, or healthcare setting.
  • Experience using EMIS Web.
