Post-Operative Vasectomy Leaflet
All patients proceeding with a vasectomy will be required to sign a consent form on the day of the procedure. You can view details of what the consent form includes here:
The fee for a private vasectomy is £625. This includes the following: -
- A vasectomy consultation and assessment with the Vasectomy Surgeon.
- Vasectomy Procedure.
- Post Vasectomy Semen Analysis (PVSA) tests to confirm that your vasectomy has been successful (a second test is provided free of charge if clinically required).
- Pre and post Operative support.

Dr Mark Vincent
BMedSci (Hons) BMBS DRCOG DCH DFRSH MRCGP
Mark qualified from Nottingham University Medical School in 2002. He initially completed surgical training in the Midlands before returning to his native Hampshire in 2007 to train and practise as a GP.
Mark has worked as a Vasectomy Surgeon since 2008 and has performed over 7,000 vasectomies. In 2023 he was appointed Clinical Lead for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Vasectomy Service. He is passionate about providing high-quality surgical care in a relaxed, patient-centred environment.
Mark undertakes his vasectomy work at St Paul’s Surgery in central Winchester where he is also a GP Partner. St Paul’s Surgery offers modern facilities and is conveniently located next to the train station with free onsite parking available.
